I also discovered that amongst the organisation of Jehovah's witnesses, who claim to be God's chosen nation, they also fornicate, beat their wives, jump the red traffic lights, get divorced for non-Biblical reasons, ...(When no one is watching). They are the people who continually remind a person that "Bad association spoil useful habits". Once I was delivered from what I term as Babylon, I could see that they were actually bad for me, because at the congregation where I attended meetings, I did not come across a happy witness. A person can study the Bible without the watchtower, but according to the witnesses God sends His message through "the faithful and discreet slave". According to other Bible translations the word "discreet" reads "wise": complete different meaning. It is now three months since I stopped associating with them. The first time, during this period, when a witness knocked on my door was when the circuit overseer and his wife visited the congregation. One thing is certain: A person will certainly know them by their conduct. What really gets to me is that they are doing all this in the divine Name of Jehovah and then claim to be imperfect humans.

Please refer back to my first posting: "WHY I LEFT JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES" of 22/01/2006. No, I am not a baptized JW - I was not even allowed to become an unbaptized publisher, because of my view of the "faithful and discreet slave". The only reason I stuck so long with them, was because they claim to be Jehovah's people, spiritual Israel, spiritual Jerusalem. I have an intense desire to preach the good news and I have not come across another religion who are so zealous in their efforts. I thought I had to clear that point of "the faithful and discreet slave" with the elders, because deep down I knew they would not accept me as one of them, if I did not accept that doctrine. Romans 8:16 says that "The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit that we are God's children", but according to the witnesses "the faithful and discreet slave" are the only annointed ones. In the process of leaving the witnesses, I found it astounding to have lost so many friends who claimed to have the love of Jesus according to John 13:35. It seems the love they professed is only effective when one is a prospective JW.

After the elders informed me about the requirements for becoming a Jehovah's Witness, I responded as follows a week later. I had another session with them on the 06/11/05, because they had to convince me that "the faithful and discreet slave is Jehovah God's arrangement for His people on earth". Before becoming a "witness" I had to accept this doctrine. I was unconvinced by "the faithful and discreet slave and stopped associating with the witnesses. After our meeting on Sunday, 30/10/2005, I came to the conclusion that: (A) I now need another few sessions with the elders in order for me to become convinced of "the faithful and discreet slave's role"; (Afterwards they will decide whether I am witness material.) But from Jehovah God's viewpoint, I need to serve all people {I Timothy 4:11-16}. And although Jehovah God, in His Word says: "[10] You are my witnesses", is the utterance of Jehovah, even my servant whom I have chosen , in order that you may know and have faith in me , and that you may understand that I am the same One . Before me there was no God formed," and after me there continued to be none. [11] I - I am Jehovah, and besides me there is no Savior." {Isaiah 43:10-11} On previous occasions, when I asked about my position according to Jehovah, I was told that I am in the queue. An elder said to me: "We don't belong to Jehovah's witnesses; we are Jehovah's witnesses." (Throughout my Bible study this was very confusing for me.) (B) I believe that "the slave" directs this organisation ( I am not so sure of Jehovah's organisation anymore) the way he thinks is right, not the way Jehovah always approve of it. (C) What I will do is continue being a slave as Jesus was described in Philippians 2:7 and serve people with my God, Jehovah's love and beauty. If the slave is not willing to budge, then it is not worth the effort to become a publisher. (Although I have this urgency in my spirit, because "millions" of lives are at stake.) (D) I will continue worshipping Jehovah God with the "manmade Jehovah's witnesses" until He directs me otherwise, because Romans 12:19 says: "Vengeance is mine, I will repay," (E) If I stay away {I Corinthians 15:33} like in Proverbs 18:1 then Jehovah will be unable to give Satan an answer.{Proverbs 27:11} (It is challenging to be And the enemy will rob me of Jehovah God's promises as he is doing amongst people with with "the witnesses". little faith.) I want us to have another look at the "watchtower" of 30 October 2005. (F) My only desire is to do Jehovah's will {I John 2:17} and live up the work that He, through His Son Jesus Christ, started in me {Philippians 1:6}. (G) I agree to only one more session. 2 Points that stood out in the Watchtower meeting on Sunday, 30 October 2005, are: (I could sense that the elders were aware of my views, because some of the questions were directed at me) 1 Regarding paragraph 8 - will Jesus allow poisonous food? (Not on list of questions and debatable.) Off course not, but if we do not keep constant watch then Satan will provide us with additives. We all know and have seen what effect additives in food have on the body. I have identified a few additives from "the slave" in our "food at a proper time": e.g. "new order", "imperfect humans" (excuses for behaviour), "in our time", "Christendom", "Jesus came in 1914". (Can be very appealing if we are not watchful.) 2 Why were we told to follow Jesus' footsteps "closely and not perfectly"? (Not on the list, now I sensed sensitivity.) If I look at the picture, it seems as if the way was paved for us, we only need to put our feet in the existing prints; the model prints are there {1 Peter 2:21-25}. If we say that we won't be able to follow Jesus' footsteps perfectly, then we are excusing our sinful behaviour/ out of control situation; and then Ephesians 4:22-24 does not apply to us. If we are unable to do this, then what is the purpose of our baptism?????????? {II Corinthians 5:17, Romans 6:4-18}. Jehovah God give it so clear and make it so easy to be perfect in II Timothy 3:16 & 17. If we are truly : dedicated; blood washed, spirit anointed children of the true God, Jehovah, then life is beautiful, pleasurable, abundant, aagh just stunning!!!!!! ************************* -

WHY I LEFT JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES CAROL M South Africa My husband and I started studying the Bible with Jehovah's witnesses towards the end of 2002. Right through my study I had questions relating to Isaiah 43:10; Joel 2:28-32; Acts 2:1-21; I Corinthians 12 and 1 Corinthians 14; James 5:14,15 that were never appropriately answered. Irrespective, after three years, towards the end of 2005, I developed the earnest desire to become a publisher. The elders came to ask me the questions regarding the requirements for becoming a Jehovah's witness. But when I posed the question to them that "What would happen to me if I do not accept 'the faithful and discreet slave' as Jehovah God's channel?", I was not allowed to become a publisher. With the knowledge comes responsibility (I Corinthians 9:16), so I decided to stop associating with Jehovah's witnesses (II Timothy 3:5; Revelation 18:4) and submit to the leadership of Christ (Matthew 23:10) by means of Jehovah's Holy Spirit (Romans 8:14-17; Ephesians 4:30). I follow Jesus' example according to I Peter 2:21-24. He already told us how to behave as His followers when He walked the earth. Jehovah has given us Holy Spirit in Jesus' Name to teach us (John 14:26). We do not need someone to interpret the Word of God for us. We require people to guide us on this road of everlasting life. I am convinced that Jehovah's witnesses are part of Babylon the Great, because they are always plagued by illness, bad health and burdens, due to a lack of faith (Hebrews 11:6). Even though JEHOVAH says that He has not changed (Isaiah 43:10; Malachi 3;6), they claim that He does not operate the same anymore "in our time". He has already given us His Best, His Only, His Son Jesus Christ in order for us to live our lives victoriously (II Corinthians 5:17), but the witnesses are waiting on "the new order". They do not exercise faith in Jehovah God's Holy Spirit (Matthew 3:11), but in the guidance of the interpretation of the Bible through the "faithful and discreet slave". It can only be the enemy, Satan the Devil, who can blind people's mind like that so that they cannot see JEHOVAH GOD'S glorious light (II Corinthians 4:4). I am grateful and thankful to Jehovah God for leading me, by means of His Holy Spirit, to Jehovah's witnesses, with them and delivering me with His Mighty Hand and Power, out of them!!! In the church where I was before, we did not receive teachings as we did with the witnesses, e.g. death, earthly paradise, Jehovah God's Kingdom to come, the memorial of Jesus, celebration of birthdays, the Christmas tree, the trinity. I also did not know the true God, JEHOVAH, as I do now (John 17:3) !!! My only desire is to, all the days of my life, do My Father in heaven, JEHOVAH GOD'S will (John 4:34; Mathew 7:21; Romans 12:2; Hebrews 10:36; I John 2:17.) He is the Sovereign of the universe, He is the Almighty (Psalm 83:18), He has beautiful qualities (Psalm 103:8), He is unselfish (Genesis 1:26), He is my Provider (Genesis 22:14), He gives me peace (Judges 6:23, 24) and He is a happy God (Proverbs 2:1-6) !!!!!!!!!!!!!! 17/ 01/ 2006
